Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Why so complicated.

Hell really is other people. You put together careful plans, and life does its life thing and kicks a piece out.

Read the DJ's email. I get the impression that he's not really following politics and hasn't been thinking of any of the newscast as spin. The newscaster is pretty buddy-buddy with him (as much as you can gauge from what you hear on the radio), so it's easy to see how a man busy with running a morning drive show would not be thinking critically of the job of a man he likes. But, hey, at least the thought has been planted, and maybe they'll chat. Discussion may spread through their own office.

I'll send him a nice email later.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

It's okay. It's fine. Maybe I'll find someone better. I adore talking on the phone.

Gotta get through two more weeks. That's it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I "Like" everything in the last 6 posts.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm gonna go with 10 or 11, I'm kinda losing count.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I should tip for furniture delivery, yes? How much?

For those playing along at home, it looks like I have zero chance at getting old furniture out before the new stuff is delivered.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had a followup visit with the orthopedist today. He says I can start putting weight on the foot in the boot, and I should wear it for 10 more days. After that, he gave me a brace for the foot. He also signed off on the paperwork for a temporary handicap parking permit, which I then got at the MVA. Took the rest of the day off. I go back in 4 weeks, but I will be starting physical therapy once I start with the brace.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for weight bearing feet! When I had foot surgery my kids were grown and could be actually helpful. I can't imagine having a wee one when on only one foot.

I'm wondering the same, re: the bed I'm allegedly getting on Saturday. Likewise with movers.

Well, I just passed my first Stanford class. I probably could have gotten a better grade if I hadn't just rushed through the final exam, but whatever. I'm going to Australia tomorrow.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Anyone still watching Grey's Anatomy? The Denny's clinic has still been open this whole time? With all the changes to the hospital just waiting to be needed for the plot?
