Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

brillig

I participated in a team-building activity this afternoon, a bunch of co-workers in a locked room, solve the puzzles, find the clues, unlock the door in under half an hour.

It was actually fun. I solved some puzzles all on my own, was instrumental in a couple more, was treated as an equal, we got out with a minute to spare. I can only imagine the chaos of a group of people who aren't professional troubleshooters trying to do this.

Always Anti-fascist!

Freelance pharma can be messy, I think. But they never did give us any trouble beyond thinking things like "I know my friends always visit for three minutes a week."

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I hadn't heard that slur either.

Today I borrowed a net from two guys fishing on the river to help our facilities guy catch a bird that got in the building.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have purchased many pumpkin items. Coffee, cookies, pop tarts, cereal, cream cheese.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Because you are LIVING RIGHT.

I went over to see my new office today. I think it passes. Of course, ours is the only office that hasn't gotten furniture yet, and I wanted to see if maybe I'll want my desk placed diffferently than planned. Oh well. Nice view towards TV Hill , lots of light, airy. Short walk to the Avenue and right over a MOM's Organic Market.

Last weekend at Target they had all the different holiday lights up at the back of the Halloween section. I may have let out an actual wail of despair.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Coincidence! I did the same this afternoon, and it was indeed fun. Not as stressful as I had feared. My team was the dept. director, one program manager, one senior developer, two business analysts, and myself (the lowly QA tester).

We beat the 60-minute time limit with only 2 minutes to spare.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Look at y'all problem-solving escape artists! Like land octopuses.

I totally misread the instructions for picking up the bib, etc., for tomorrow's race. I thought I'd have to be there by 4:30, and no, that's when the gate opens I just need to be there by 6 or even 7, and that will not be difficult so I'm not gonna drive up tonight for early pickup. Yay, I did not want to make that drive twice in two days.

They had Christmas stuff out in Macy's this week.

WHAT? No. I know you are into Christmas, Macy's, but this is TOO EARLY
