Excellent, Suzi!
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Jesse, I was a little curious if your work was crazy given the hurricane!
Not so much for me at this point, and apparently all of our people and places are OK, so that's good.
I'm at the library, using their internet, because I had a 1PM doctor's appt and a 3:30 PM doctor's appt, and it seemed silly to go home in between. But now I'm sulking in the library because I'd rather be at home.
But now I'm sulking in the library
I don't think the library minds sulking as long as you do it quietly.
I'm back from my visit to the orthopedist, who looked at the X-rays and said he did not see a fracture in my foot. The splint was removed, and replaced by a boot. I go back next week to see how things are progressing.
Surprise visitors at work. Thank dog I am pretty much caught up on everything and my desk is much clearer than normal.
Mac is mad at me for not letting him sleep over at a friend's house since they had no school today. He spends about every other weekend at this kid's house, it is just too much.
About to run out for a late lunch and pick up my bed that someone had agreed to buy and no doesn't want. Grr.
That sounds encouraging, Sheryl.
Glad to hear that, Sheryl!
Bah on all of that, msbelle.
We had quite the spread for lunch. I will probably not need dinner, and have a couple of pieces of leftover chicken for a meal tomorrow, and the sandwich I bought, so even less danger of me starving than usual (threat level going from like 0.5 to -2 or something)
New bed delivery--10/15 (probably). Actual moving of stuff--10/18. Pickup of junk furniture--10/19. Clean up of leftovers--to the end of the month.
Severing of ties to old place, as planned--Halloween.
Best of luck, Connie!
