No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Librarian Warlord

I think I heard the same story as Dana.

Greetings from Poland, everyone! I got in last night, it's been raining sideways all day, so I've mostly been catching up on work with only a short walk to the square -- which now has a Starbucks that wasn't here three years ago.

One of the students in class is the daughter of the Polish president, and there were big protests happening last night here regarding the abortion ban the govt is considering.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It really just made me so angry, because she's so calmly immovable in the face of actual facts. Convinced that Muslims are responsible for the violence in the US (because that's what the Koran tells them). And when the reporter said, what about studies that show white men commit most of the shootings, she said, "I don't believe that."

YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT. YOU FUCKING NARROW-MINDED DELIBERATELY IGNORANT MORON.

Our wings are not tired.

Hey Sparky! I hope the weather improves so you can get out and about more.

Didn't hear NPR, but I did see the NYT has Hillary back at 79% chance of victory. [link]

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

So I spent the rest of my commute snarling at other drivers and (silently) snarling at the people in my office who wanted me to buy something for a Susan G. Komen fundraiser. They better get through this month without asking me why I don't want to participate.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I did see the NYT has Hillary back at 79% chance of victory.

Even 538 is looking much, much better. And the Princeton Consortium has the Senate prediction back at 50-50 DEM-GOP.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Even 538 is looking much, much better. And the Princeton Consortium has the Senate prediction back at 50-50 DEM-GOP.

With a 64% likelihood of control!

Our wings are not tired.

So, will the senate decide to quickly confirm Justice Garland on November 9th? Or will they decide that it is right and proper for President Clinton and the new Democratic Senate need to do this?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Thanks for all the well wishes folks. Instead of going to services today, I will be learning how to do everyday things on one foot. Like showering. Time to look up shower seats on Amazon.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

They would need to change the Senate rules to prevent a filibuster of a Supreme Court nominee, right?

Some Republicans have said they'll refuse to approve any of Clinton's Supreme Court nominees and just wait until a Republican is president.

Coding and Sleeping

Still can't quite get back into politics yet. Sounds like Trump didn't do great in the first debate at least. I did watch the SNL skit of the debate. Kate McKinnon can be hilarious just with her eyes.
