I look more rad than Lutheranism

flea, that's awesome! I think I want to follow along on your schedule. I haven't watched any Buffy in a long time.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'd love to follow Casper's journey through Buffy! It's been a long time since I watched any Buffy, myself.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

As, I said in the Buffista facebook thread, I don't have time for a rewatch myself, but I'd love to read about how Casper is enjoying to it.

Possibly stupid question for Buffista parents: Why are plain square, wooden blocks marked as for ages 2 and up? Is it just because they expect a younger child won't know what to do with them, or would they be actually dangerous to give to a 16 month old for Christmas?

Our wings are not tired.

If they aren't small enough to swallow I would say they are okay. The age thing is both a guideline and a legal cover their asses thing.

Yes, I am looking forward to seeing Buffy through the teenager eyes. I was in my 40s so it was a different perspective.

Coding and Sleeping

And now that Em is back, it's back to being yelled at and criticized a good deal of the time. Still, worth it to have Em back.

information libertarian

The danger of wooden blocks for the very small is they may throw them. (I mean, two and three year olds may well throw them also, but. Heck, my 10 year old throws things sometimes still.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Gud, is any family counselling planned as part of Em's treatment?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm glad Em's home, Gud, if not so much the side effects.

Last week I took a few days off and cleaned the spare room. Well, the closet and desk, which were the big things. I'd hoped to do more, but eh, whatever. Anyway, today I carried on the cleaning theme by washing the kitchen cupboards with Murphy oil soap. Now everything smells vaguely citrusy. The weather's lovely, so I have all the windows open. Later, I'm going to bake some bread--I'm trying this no-knead recipe where to dough sits in the fridge for a few days to gain flavor. But first, a shower.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...it's back to being yelled at and criticized a good deal of the time.

Log it. Log it all.
