I'm sorry, Laura.
Sarameg, if you're still feeling bad it makes sense to rest as much as you can.
Laura, that is heartbreaking.
I need hivemind advice. What is an appropriate baptism gift for a 26 year old girl you are related to? Like closely related?
I've never given a baptism gift to an adult.
Jewelry? But I don't know that I got any gifts when I was baptized as an adult, even from my parents. I mean, I got the gift of salvation!
So a card is ok???
I mean, I got the gift of salvation!
That's kind of hard to beat, yeah. That Jesus, always showing everyone up with his awesome gift!
But if you want something she would keep and years from know be like "Suzi gave me this necklace when I was baptized!" then jewelry (necklace or earrings, maybe)?
Otherwise, flowers and a heartfelt card?
Okay, I was baptized in the FAC in my late 20s, and my mom just got me a nice card. I didn't expect anything, though.
My plan had been flowers and a fancy lunch after. Her bf already got her jewelry.
