A moving blanket might work. I know some of mine are just the right size for a windshield.

Hit the point where I blow my nose and both my ear and tear ducts on that side gurgle. It's rather disgusting.

Or some kind of car blindfold thing to cover the windshield while you're at work.

I think I'm going to have to, if I can figure out one that won't get ripped off by winds. Or park with the back of my car into the wind and sacrifice the back window.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, what a PITA.

Have walked for Alzheimer's and had lunch with my aunt and uncle. Am now full and sleepy. So maybe an hour or so on the couch before I do some cleaning and grocery shopping.

Sew bungee cords to the cover that can be looped around the side mirrors? Of course, you'd have to get the tension just right so the top didn't just get pulled down.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If you got a $5 tarp with grommets and adjustable bungee cords, similar price range, that side mirror option might be pretty easy. Depending on your side mirrors. I was picturing putting iit on with the doors open and hooking the bungee cords together inside the car, and closing the doors onto the cords. That should stay put.

I should be mowing my lawn before it gets too hot, Instead, I am trying to write down the qi gong I have learned so far as I am starting to get mixed up in my practice. There is just so much Soaring Crane, I haven't got it straight in my mind yet.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

AAA truck didn't have the right battery, so he gave me a jumpstart (while telling me the story of his life) and I drove to AutoZone, where they installed the battery for me in the parking lot. Then off to the grocery, and back home to clean up cat barf and finally get myself some food.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

No fun morning Zen. Hopefully the rest of the day will be better.

I'm procrastinating writing this week's paper. I'm maybe 25% done writing, but I need to get some research done and I am just stalling as hard as a person can stall. One side of my brain would rather compute the results on my grade if I just skipped this paper while the other side is going oooh, shiny, squirrel, should we do laundry, dishes are already done, what about work, we could put in some overtime, oh hey, Jack wants scritches, I should really clean out my closet.

Then there is the tiny voice saying, hey, this paper isn't hard, just do it and then you can flake off the rest of the day. Stupid, quiet voice.

Man, getting startled by a false fire alarm pales in comparison with some of your mornings!

I went to the farmer's market and loaded up on fruit & veg, then had a leisurely breakfast while reading a library book. Now I'm trying to convince myself to get out and walk, but it's hot here.

Maybe I will drop in for a flu shot while I am out and about. They'll be available at work, but not for a couple of weeks.

I usually get mine at work, but they aren't doing them until later in October when I'll be abroad. Plus it takes a few weeks for full effectiveness..

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

C'mon, Suzi. You can get it done, and then chill out for the rest of the day.

I am trying to decide if I want to cook another meal, or make a sandwich, or if ice cream is an acceptable meal. (Fine, no, it's not.)
