Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

Thrive to spite them

The American pie thing was frustrating. Lots of American pies are double crusts and people doNT decorate single crust pies that much . At least in my experience.

Our wings are not tired.

Sorry about the cold, sarameg. My go to method when I suspect a cold is to drown myself with both water and Vitamin C. Flush that sucker out. It works for me anyway.

Yay for learning and for gin & tonic!

I think I officially have a couple cats now. They were my neighbor's cats and she died, then her mother took care of them, then she moved. So over the last couple months we have been feeding them and moving their bowl closer and closer so it is at my house now. They are now spending most of the time under, over, or in our cars and boat. And will walk over for love and pets now! The next time we have a storm I'll see if they want to come inside. They go in the garage now. Still have to see how Zoe does with them, but my experience has been that cats manage to avoid dogs if they don't want to play. One seems a bit old and tired. We'll see how it goes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay cats!

I got three pairs of shoes from Zappos last night and returned two this morning. Efficient!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jesse, I aspire to that level of efficiency. I'm terrible about returning things, even to stores, nevermind when I have to mail something back.

What are people doing this weekend. We're going to head out to a garlic festival as soon as ltc wakes from her nap.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I finally returned a sweater I bought last winter, along with a blouse I recently bought in 2 sizes to be sure which size fit best. They only issue a credit after 90 days, but that's fine, because I wanted to buy a flannel shirt anyway (thank you, resurgence of 90s fashion!).

What are people doing this weekend.

Improv workshop this afternoon, Cheese Ball tonight.

Stores are generally harder for me - the UPS Store is right down the street! Although I've been thinking I should take better advantage of working in a mall and order stuff online from those stores. I mean, or just go shopping in the stores?

I have some vague ideas of things to do this weekend, but the only sure things are visiting my father and the Alzheimer's Walk tomorrow. I may go an adventure to try to buy OPI Madame President, and if I do that, I may swing by the Fluff Festival, but odds are none of that will happen.

What are people doing this weekend.

Going for a run in a few minutes. Laundry. Maybe bake some congo bars. Dog class. Possibly visit Dad, then maybe a potluck with the chorus. And that's just today...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I slept in a bit, but then came to the gym. Am having a little meltdown in the parking lot for no specific reason just everything seems hopeless and horrible in the world at large and this is what I do. So waiting until I stop and don't have cry face to go in and swim.

I did something when stretching yesterday. The back of my left knee is super sore. It felt like something moved in there when stretching in a lunge. Nothing is red or swollen and it is not a sharp pain so I am gonna see how swimming goes instead of walking on it.

I want to buy it for the name, but I'm actually not in love with the color. It's too pink-toned for my taste. But We The Female -- from the same collection -- rocks my socks. I love a brick red.
