Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm terrible about returning things, even to stores, nevermind when I have to mail something back.
I finally returned a sweater I bought last winter, along with a blouse I recently bought in 2 sizes to be sure which size fit best. They only issue a credit after 90 days, but that's fine, because I wanted to buy a flannel shirt anyway (thank you, resurgence of 90s fashion!).

Improv workshop this afternoon, Cheese Ball tonight.

Stores are generally harder for me - the UPS Store is right down the street! Although I've been thinking I should take better advantage of working in a mall and order stuff online from those stores. I mean, or just go shopping in the stores?
I have some vague ideas of things to do this weekend, but the only sure things are visiting my father and the Alzheimer's Walk tomorrow. I may go an adventure to try to buy OPI Madame President, and if I do that, I may swing by the Fluff Festival, but odds are none of that will happen.

Going for a run in a few minutes. Laundry. Maybe bake some congo bars. Dog class. Possibly visit Dad, then maybe a potluck with the chorus. And that's just today...
I slept in a bit, but then came to the gym. Am having a little meltdown in the parking lot for no specific reason just everything seems hopeless and horrible in the world at large and this is what I do. So waiting until I stop and don't have cry face to go in and swim.
I did something when stretching yesterday. The back of my left knee is super sore. It felt like something moved in there when stretching in a lunge. Nothing is red or swollen and it is not a sharp pain so I am gonna see how swimming goes instead of walking on it.

I want to buy it for the name, but I'm actually not in love with the color. It's too pink-toned for my taste. But We The Female -- from the same collection -- rocks my socks. I love a brick red.
This weekend is for knuckling down and getting the house ready for sale. My big thing is going through lots of paper to either sort or throw. I have to go to the grocery store, pack some things up for consignment, fill out the seller's disclosure...and I know there's other stuff. Some things will have to wait until I no longer have a mutant hand.
Aw, msbelle. Swimming sounds like a good call in that situation.
So my mother has a cold, so she's not going to see my father, so I have to take the bus, which throws off my whole plan. And I offered to bring her hot and sour soup, yet another thing!
The shirt I'm wearing right now is basically the same color as Madam President, I think, so it's just right for me.

Too much. Work stuff. House stuff. Round trip to see Mom and family at some point. Prepping for trip to NY later this week.
My potential names for the cats right now are Penny and Parker. I never knew what my neighbor named them. Penny is a grey tiger with a very fluffy tail and Parker is a black & white. I have to get approval from the other family members. Penny is super friendly and Parker is super stealthy. I'll get pictures!

FB link may or may not work. I'll check the settings.
I want someone to bring me soup! But I got ginger and lemongrass and noodles which I'll add to the miso ginger broth I have. I definitely can't smell anything right now.
