Hubby had horrible kidney stones till he stopped drinking the city water. We have very hard water, and the minerals weren't being filtered out. When he went to bottled water, the kidney stone frequency dropped about 90%.

God to know, Connie. I wonder if Truman's predilection for toilet water is a factor.
Truman is not allowed to be old.
Good luck for easy treatment for Truman.
Muumuu is every bit as comfortable to work in as I imagined.
Hooray for muumuus at work!
Indeed! Perhaps we all need office muumuus to go with our office tiaras.
If I were sending out a reminder today about an event that is next Tuesday and has a deadline for entry of tomorrow, I would mention the deadline tomorrow in my reminder email. That seems like the important piece of information to convey today.
Costume changes, -t?
Miss Kitty has having a harder and harder time controlling her hind legs. The vet said it is arthritis in her hips AND legs. At this point, as long as she seems content, I'm trying not to worry.
Timelies all!
Went to the dentist, and they say I need a crown.(Apparently there are cracks in the other side of the tooth.) Got an appointment to get that done Wed. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to get up at stupid o'clock for it.
I have stayed late and done onerous things. I think I may need pancakes for dinner.
Yeah, Kato is having more difficulty getting up from the floor, even with regular meds. There's no circumstance in which I'll be happy to put him to sleep, but doing it for mobility issues seems worse to me somehow than doing it for disease. We're also becoming pros at finding things to mix in with his food to get him to eat, since it's pretty normal for senior dogs to not have a great appetite, in part because their sense of smell isn't as good as it used to be.
Kato's deal is that he goes through cycles of LOVING something we mix in with his food (canned food, cottage cheese, chicken broth, cooked shredded chicken, grated parmesan cheese [edit: not all together; one at a time, or chicken broth with the parmesan cheese]) for a few weeks and then deciding he's not into it any more, so we have to come up with something else. But eventually we can cycle back, because he's been eating canned food mixed in with his regular food again lately.
