Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm catching up on the Emmys and am reminded about Hallelujah -- I was at a 50th anniversary party recently and they had a sing-along portion of the party, which was basically great because there were some really great musicians there. ANYWAY, they had Hallelujah in the song book and I really tried to resist it, but their 5-year-old granddaughter INSISTED. That was kind of hilarious. But it is not a party song!

That is definitely not a party song, Jesse!!

Dana you deserve an adulting gold star for the whole damn week and it's only Monday!!

I'm looking forward to my week--dinner with friends tonight, then drinks with Angus, dinner with other friends Wednesday, potential date Thursday and/or possibly trivia, and Friday fly to DC to see my friend's baby again, and go see "Come From Away" and plot travel with my other friend!

Thursday's date has been downgraded, as (a) she apparently told her friends I asked her out (...only because she had asked me out in person, so I followed up on messenger!) and more importantly (b) she may have a girlfriend. Third hand info both of those...filtered through her best friend, to the girl the BFF is sleeping with, who happens to be the 23 year old I had a fling with earlier in the summer, who I saw while visiting a different friend (who is a friend of the 23 year old's). Lesbian gossip train, man...

Dang, Dana. I took today off because jet lag, and so far I've just gone to the post office and the grocery store.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, Dana did so much, and meara has so much planned! I feel like I have gotten very little done today and I may just go to bed as soon as I get home. Conserving something or other, I'm sure.

the 5-year-old insisting on singing Hallelujah is cracking me up. I guess she hasn't seen the montages a million times yet. She will.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's a lot of third-hand info, meara.

And also a lot of upcoming fun! Angus!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm in Salt Lake for work, currently mid-pedicure. Ahhhh. When I'm done it is off to the hotel gym and then homework. So exciting.

Oh, and had an ex, who lives nowhere near me, flirt hardcore over text. Which, nice, and yet, no way to follow through on any of it. Such a tease.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dang, Dana, that all sounds great! 'Bout time, too, huh?

Jesse, I hope that works out 100% in your favor.

I also don't know what Cindy was referring to. Hope she's okay and someone gets in touch with her.

meara, being a Lesbian is clearly very complicated. I had no idea!

msbelle, I hope everything's okay with your dad!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

What's going on with Dad's neck is vertebrae are getting pinched/smooshed from being out of alignment. There is degeneration in there. They are going to go in from the back of his neck and attach a rod to the vertebrae, putting them where they need to be. They have to go through muscle, so rehab is going to be longer than his previous neck surgery where they went in through the front and just did the work. so yeah, it's a lot and again he's 73, but that's what it is.
