You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Brother left this morning. Just heard surgery is not until Nov, that is the first the surgeon has open....SO, it can't be an emergency just something wrong.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds promising -- there's something they can do for him, but it is not a crisis.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, waiting until tonight to tell you what's up doesn't seem so bad, then. Continuing the ~ma, regardless.

Timelies all!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Today I have talked to the boss about telecommuting, talked to the mortgage pre-approval people, responded to several moving-related emails, talked to a store about consigning some of our decorative crap, dealt with the remnants of my cold, called the electric company to get a returned payment charge taken off our account (THANKS SO MUCH, old bank), and called the mail order pharmacy to get them to ship husband's prescriptions to the new address.

It is time for some motherfucking Miss Fisher.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm catching up on the Emmys and am reminded about Hallelujah -- I was at a 50th anniversary party recently and they had a sing-along portion of the party, which was basically great because there were some really great musicians there. ANYWAY, they had Hallelujah in the song book and I really tried to resist it, but their 5-year-old granddaughter INSISTED. That was kind of hilarious. But it is not a party song!

That is definitely not a party song, Jesse!!

Dana you deserve an adulting gold star for the whole damn week and it's only Monday!!

I'm looking forward to my week--dinner with friends tonight, then drinks with Angus, dinner with other friends Wednesday, potential date Thursday and/or possibly trivia, and Friday fly to DC to see my friend's baby again, and go see "Come From Away" and plot travel with my other friend!

Thursday's date has been downgraded, as (a) she apparently told her friends I asked her out (...only because she had asked me out in person, so I followed up on messenger!) and more importantly (b) she may have a girlfriend. Third hand info both of those...filtered through her best friend, to the girl the BFF is sleeping with, who happens to be the 23 year old I had a fling with earlier in the summer, who I saw while visiting a different friend (who is a friend of the 23 year old's). Lesbian gossip train, man...
