Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'm hoping Cindy was talking about the pipe bombs, or something. Which is a weird thing to hope for.

So today is the day I talk to my boss about the move and possible telecommuting, and I'm trying to figure out the optimal time/approach.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

PSA: Amex presale for Hamilton tickets is live. Still some orchestra and mezzanine seats available from May 2017 to August 2017.

Yeah, that is what I'm hoping, too, Dana. Weird as that is.

I feel like crap. I was hoping if I dragged myself to work I would feel better once I got here but it is not working out that way. I have too much to do to be sick! Argh.

Success! Provided that HR and management don't have any complaints!

It's certainly going to make potential mortgage lenders happier. Husband found a place this weekend we may want to make an offer on.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay Dana!

Thank goodness the job I applied for finally reached out for a phone screen. I'm 1000% qualified, so I figured they would -- except the search firm was also hired by my current job to find my new boss (the job I am currently "acting" in), and they are about to get fired from that search if they haven't been already. So I wasn't sure.

Wow - you would just buy right away?

That's great, Dana! And Jesse. That's some weird behind-the-scenes insight to have...

Maybe if I just keep drinking water and don't move very much I can get through today okay. Worth a try.
