Fine. Tacos so far. No complaints.

Mmm, tacos.
Happy Birthday, erika! Tacos are a damn fine way to celebrate.
Avocado Egg Salad:
Thanks to whatever Buffista exclaimed about the yumminess of this. Maybe Teppy? Finally made some today and it is quite tasty. FL avocados are quite different from the CA varieties, so lighter and sweeter, but yum.
That was me. I'm fanatical about it. Glad you like it!
ION, pumpkin stuff is starting to show up at Trader Joe's. I only bought pumpkin caramel corn (new this year), pumpkin cream cheese, and pumpkin butter. I think I should be commended for how much pumpkin stuff I *didn't* buy.
I just came from Kroger, where I saw pumpkin spice oreos, pumpkin spice milano cookies, and pumpkin spice milk chocolate Lindor truffles. I did not buy any of these items.
Queen City Kroger was a hot mess. I hope Clifton Market opens soon and is good.
Alex Kingston was a delight two years ago at ECCC.
She was a delight at DragonCon, as well!
I have done laundry, mostly unpacked, gotten groceries, and walked a few miles in the park. I'm trying to convince myself to make lunch before I slowly collapse onto the couch and remain there for a few hours.
wow, pumpkiny. Sometimes I like it.

Indeed! I think a trip to TJ's is required this week. I just got back from Publix and am sadly pumpkinless.
I can't remember if I posted here yesterday that I had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season from McDonald's. It was good. I'm usually one and done with pumpkin spice lattes, but I may get this one again.
pumpkin spice milk chocolate Lindor truffles.
I'm going to need these.

That Kroger is...something else. Have I told the story about how 2 large families (like, 7 or 8 adults in each family) started an actual fistfight at that Kroger while we were shopping? And the fight kind of travelled through the store (we didn't actually see it; but from the commotion, it sounded like the fight was moving like one of those cartoon cat-and-dog fights that's a cloud of dust that just rolls along). Good times.
I just got back from the market. The Big Y, which I hate but its closest. How does one 13 month old require so many trips to the market?
