"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I can't remember if I posted here yesterday that I had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season from McDonald's. It was good. I'm usually one and done with pumpkin spice lattes, but I may get this one again.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

pumpkin spice milk chocolate Lindor truffles.

I'm going to need these.

Queen City Kroger was a hot mess. I hope Clifton Market opens soon and is good.

That Kroger is...something else. Have I told the story about how 2 large families (like, 7 or 8 adults in each family) started an actual fistfight at that Kroger while we were shopping? And the fight kind of travelled through the store (we didn't actually see it; but from the commotion, it sounded like the fight was moving like one of those cartoon cat-and-dog fights that's a cloud of dust that just rolls along). Good times.

I just got back from the market. The Big Y, which I hate but its closest. How does one 13 month old require so many trips to the market?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Are the Emmys going to be interesting enough for me to watch, even though I have a migraine?

Coding and Sleeping

Just wait until that becomes 13 year old. I know the maximum number of days before I need to go the grocery store by the number of gallons of milk I buy. 1 gallon == 1 day.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I finished a lot of grading, transferred some grades around (spreadsheets and scantrons and stuff don't always cooperate with each other, so things need to be retyped), prepped videos for two sections worth of calculus (though I didn't record the videos yet), prepped notes for another section, updated my rosters, and made a ton of photocopies. Maybe there will be one week this semester when I don't have to work on weekends.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should have done some work this weekend, but didn't. And...am not going to.

Are the Emmys going to be interesting enough for me to watch, even though I have a migraine?

Probably no. You can see clips and gifs tomorrow.

Our wings are not tired.

I only watch for the clothes so it is paused so I can zoom through quickly later.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, erikaj!

I nabbed the TJ's pumpkin Brad mix yesterday. Mmmmm. I haven't made it yet.

I have the Emmys red carpet on. There's some computer stuff I need to do, and that's a nice background

Yellow's one of the colors of the night, huh.
