Ahhhh. I finished my big draft. I mean, just the first draft, and someone will still tell me it's garbage, but still. The capital-W Writer has been working on two sections for weeks now, and I basically banged out the other 10 this morning.

I have acquired a big project. Sigh. I mean, I always knew it would be my baby, but I was hoping to put it off for a while longer, not start it during our busy season. Oh well.
There are some Buffistas in the Portland, Oregon area, right? Just got off the phone with the DH (who is in Vail on a Volvo launch) and an autojournalist friend of ours has made a strong case that DH could continue to do his review work from there (access to press fleet cars is THE deciding factor in location) and that we could find a nice house. Not as cheap as the Detroit area, but still half as much as our current house.
