Anyway, as a result of being SO BORED, I have made magic bars tonight. (Butterscotch bars with chocolate chips, walnuts, and coconut.) Hopefully class tomorrow will be less deadly boring with a hit of sugar and fat.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My dinner was chips and dip and hard cider. Because I'm an adult.

Seriously, a kid couldn't have gotten away with it.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

(I am not entirely anti-police, but I am in favor of using modern technology to reveal how the police have been accustomed to mistreat minorities in this country, rather than continue hiding the reality of it.)

My standard response to various "blue lives matter most" type rants is this: I care so much about the lives of police officers that I want for them the kind of trust and support and therefore increased safety from the communities in which they work that can only come from genuine accountability for wrong-doing.

Coding and Sleeping

My lunch was two honeycrisp apples and caramel dip.

I had raspberry jaffa cakes for breakfast.

My dinner was two chocolate bars, a roll of sweet tarts, and a package of cheese peanut butter crackers. On a plane, because I always eat terrible on planes. Though not usually quite that bad.

That is also great!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My dinner was guacamole and pita chips and a spoonful of chocolate peanut butter at 10pm.

Scrappy, I feel you. I think I'm being pushed out of my job. And job searching is awkward when my home internet isn't working.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh no, Aurelia! After my dentist appointment today, I went hunting for interview clothes at Burlington Coat Factory, and had an L.A. moment. There was a guy in his 50s with a list, walking purposefully around the ladies section and pulling things. I sized him up as not actually being the sort to wear them, so I went over and said "Are you a costumer?" He said he was and I put on the black with blue and green flecked jacket I had and said "This with a white shirt and black pants for job interviews?" He gave me a long measuring look and said "Yes.... but with a blue shirt."

I brought home the jacket and blue shirt.

Yikes to both Scrappy and Aurelia.

My application to Stanford was approved, so now I need to enroll in a required course for a Professional Certification. I haven't enrolled at a university since we used, like, telnet to do it.
