I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

Supersoldiers have extra dense muscle mass, everyone knows that.

I put in my application for my apartment, and it should get approved in a couple of days--assuming they don't find anything weird, which I figure they won't but my anxiety is certain they will.

The light in the place is terrific, the rent plus utilities is about $125 more than what I'm paying now, which isn't too bad, and the storage is amazing. And it comes with its own washer and dryer. I was worried about annual rent raises, and apparently $20 a month is the most you can raise rent on existing people per year, so that's terrific.

Now to play Fit My Furniture.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, congrats, Connie! When will you move?

I might fit into it short and thin, frankly. I'm just shy of 5'3" and the lightest I could reasonably go and still have a healthy body fat percentage is about 140, which would still put me at a little under ideal.

I think this cutoff was like 150 or 160, which is still not that big!

Supersoldiers have extra dense muscle mass, everyone knows that.

I think that is correct.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I think that is correct.

It makes the 3-point landings that much more dramatic.

Ooh, congrats, Connie! When will you move?

I'll sign the lease the beginning of next month. October has always been good to me.

Getting stuff out of here needs to move into high gear. I wish dumpster rental was cheaper.

But at least the steps up to the second floor are designed for short-legged people.

I just noticed the line "You're a lot heavier than you look," so canon accepted.

Yes, I've seen a lot of triathlons and some races have an "Athena" or "Juno" category or some such (there's also often a men's category that is like, "Clydesdale") with a cutoff of 160 or somewhere around there. Which is ridiculous if you don't sort by height too...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yeah, the bone/muscle density thing always been my handwaveium. It's just hilarious when contrasted with reality. (The camera does make these guys look a lot bigger, though I'll say from seeing them in person at ECCC that Mackie's biceps right before Civil War was filmed were like fucking tree trunks. Jesus.)

I think this cutoff was like 150 or 160, which is still not that big!

Then slim, short me could participate. At those weights, I'm in an 8/10 pants!

I was feeling really relieved and glad that I was seeing hardly any 9/11 stuff today. And then I realized its tomorrow. Ugh.

So glad I went to dog class. Felt a bit better when I got there, and the Boss did great: we did a sequence that included a jump, tunnel, six more jumps, and then the tunnel again. And she did it at least once perfectly! Our trainer was really pleased: most of the class is doing very well. (Except for the apricot poodle, who is ... not.)

And while I was there Dad called and told me he wants to invest in Uber Cab. Which is great, except Uber is not publicly traded. Sorry, Dad!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, he's been sent off to his first day of school. Job. Whatever.

I am on the couch and not moving except for food at some point that is not now. Now is couch time.
