ION, I am missing a decade in my memories. People will talk about thing that happened in the 90s, and I'll go "No, that was the 80s, that was a long time ago." And those people will give the puzzled dog look and say "But the 90s were a long time ago." "No, they were just--20 years ago, huh."

There are huge swaths of time that are a blob in my memory. That whole bit where I stopped being a 30 something and became a 50 something. Do not like.

This. My heart hurts for you all, and I wish you strength and love on the journey forward. My own parents remained friendly and never put me in the middle during and after their divorce, and I can never thank them enough for that, even though I didn't understand then. I am sure someday Emeline will be able to say the same.
