Aimee, Joe -- I know you didn't make this decision lightly, and I know it's not easy. I admire you beyond words for making Em your priority. All 3 of you have all my love and support.
This. My heart hurts for you all, and I wish you strength and love on the journey forward. My own parents remained friendly and never put me in the middle during and after their divorce, and I can never thank them enough for that, even though I didn't understand then. I am sure someday Emeline will be able to say the same.
