You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

The status is NOT quo.

I believe Joe is coming this way to announce in Beep Me. Very sad but also determined to be supportive through such a difficult time for everyone.

The thing I posted about twitter, posting that stuff. no need to continue, they pulled that as task.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

So, for those not on Facebook:

It is with sadness and regret that we must announce the SuperFun Conat Family Hour Variety Show has been cancelled.

In real-world talk, that means Aimee and I are getting divorced.

The split is amicable. Aimee will be moving to a nearby apartment at the end of the month.

Our priority, as always, is Emeline. She seems to be taking it as well as can be expected.

We appreciate your love and support during this time.

I just spent the last ten minutes waiting for the Just Kidding. Gosh.

Our wings are not tired.

Joe, Aimee, of course all the love and support is yours as needed. I divorced from my first husband. Although it was the right decision, and we remained friends as long as he lived, it sucks mightily. Hugs to all of you.

ION, I am missing a decade in my memories. People will talk about thing that happened in the 90s, and I'll go "No, that was the 80s, that was a long time ago." And those people will give the puzzled dog look and say "But the 90s were a long time ago." "No, they were just--20 years ago, huh."

There are huge swaths of time that are a blob in my memory. That whole bit where I stopped being a 30 something and became a 50 something. Do not like.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, Joe and Aimee. I hope the transition goes as smoothly as possible for Emeline and for you.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Aimee, Joe -- I know you didn't make this decision lightly, and I know it's not easy. I admire you beyond words for making Em your priority. All 3 of you have all my love and support.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm totally with Calli on that. I've known couples that have continued on as friends, and they all have my deepest admiration.
