Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm paralyzed with indecision about whether to go to SPX or sign up for this class. Both options are panic-inducing for me.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

That's a tough choice, Tom. Both options sound really interesting (though the panic is ungood [but I get it]).

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm intrigued that Sherwin-Williams' range also includes Truly Taupe, not to mention Temperate Taupe. On the other side, it sits next to Less Brown, which, confusingly, is more brown than Poised Taupe. I have a preference for either Otter or Armadillo, to the surprise of no one. And now I'm tempted just to type random animals into S-W's search engine and see what develops. (Spoiler alert: neither Echidna nor Platypus are included in their current range, which is probably discriminatory in some fashion.)

Stand up for the rights of animals to be represented by inexplicable colors!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would love to paint something Platypus. Or Poised Platypus.

Partial success! "Hippo" is totally a colour they have! It's part of their Vinyl Siding range, along with Humpback, Big Bear, Gray Squirrel and Llama. And Rrrreptile.

Alternatively, if you're in a "Who's your Dada" kind of mood, you could do your vinyl in: Boomerang, Sediment, Snicker, Weeping or (seriously) Guesswork.

I am anti-panic but pro-doing-stuff, Scola. I hope the panic ebbs, I guess, and one of them becomes more appealing?

Dang, maybe I should go for vinyl siding. Who knew?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My sister has the twins. They are back in the US and she's with them. They called me (I'm sure making the family rounds) and I managed to hold off the hysterical sobbing until I'd told them I loved them and had missed them. Thank you all so much. I definitely needed our community to get through this.

The twins are back in the country and safe with my sister. This is a wonderful day and I'm going to keep crying because I'm so relieved.
