Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The NPR article said that when he was broke, he got a perm because it would reduce hair maintenance costs (I guess), and then he was stuck with it after he became famous.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Wilder was in his 80s, and had Alzheimer's. So, sad, but not unexpected. Blazing Saddles was a family favorite. Wilder's delivery and timing were flawless.

RIP, Wilder.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I still like Young Frankenstein, best. He and Madeline Kahn made such a great comedic team.
