I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Wilder was in his 80s, and had Alzheimer's. So, sad, but not unexpected. Blazing Saddles was a family favorite. Wilder's delivery and timing were flawless.

RIP, Wilder.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I still like Young Frankenstein, best. He and Madeline Kahn made such a great comedic team.

I tend to fast forward through the cruder parts of Mel Brooks' movies, I get rather special snowflake about potty humor

Afraid I've been expecting Wilder to go for quite a while now. May he and Gilda have had a fond reunion.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

From a week ago: there is post-war Foyle's War available on acorn.tv, just in case that is not known. Series 8 and 9 I think?

(I'm only about 300 posts behind, now, but I had to skip in case this would be useful knowledge)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'd assumed Bob Ross's hair was a perm. The curls just didn't look right for it to be natural.
