I really wish I'd get over this whole "painkillers are a sign of weakness" mindset. I tell myself "Hubby dealt with worse," then I remember he treated the pain center's list of "Have you ever taken these drugs?" as a Yahtzee card (he was kind of disappointed he never got to check that last box for marijuana).
If I take care of the hip pain, I can walk normally, which makes it easier for the hip to resettle itself. Stupid brain Puritans.
My flight to Chicago has been delayed and then delayed again. If I actually make my flight to SF, I won't land until 1:15am. I guess I'm working from home tomorrow.
They shut down the cafe inside the terminal and I'm pretty sure they also turned off the wifi. Regional airports are hilarious.
adequate pain management is a very good thing, Connie
They turned off the wifi? Heathens.
I still haven't departed. They did bring us pizza, at least.
Jeez, shrift. This sounds awful. I never understood why airport restaurants close at 9 while planes keep arriving round the clock...
It hasn't been that bad, but I'll be cranky if I miss my rebooked connecting flight.
Geez, shrift, that sucks!
Friends are forgiven because although we were the last to arrive, they ended up bailing on their other plans for the day and staying on the boat the whole time. So much fun. Room still feels like it's rocking. It was cloudy and 70 out but the water was supposedly 69 degrees, so we all went swimming too. Only bad part was when my friend's jacket fell in the water...with her wallet and keys and iPhone. Luckily we fished it out quickly and she had zippered pockets. But the phone may be a problem (she bought rice and is crossing her fingers)
Bumped from my flight because there were no seats and they asked me to volunteer. Um. How can I fly if there are no seats?!
Ugh. My bag is on its way to SF and I'm not. Maybe I'll get a hotel room.
