Also, whee, my new headphones have been delivered, I want to go home and try them out!
Also also, made Gold Level with Starbucks which seems like it should be exciting but does not actually get me anything yet. This is a lot more complicated than getting a free drink from my local coffee shop.
We had the craziest hailstorm here! I've literally never seen an extended hail storm like that. And now the sky is blue.
Weather is crazy.
I guess I accidentally requested a new laptop, but at least I realized it before next week? It's not the worst mistake ever. I think I can allow it.
BF just put on his extrication gloves to remove the rest of the broken glass. It took all I had not to cry in front of him. The print is all scratched up, and it's not available any more. Yes, I know it's silly, but that was my first piece of artwork.
-t, Gold comes in handy with the special offers. Use the app for the best experience. You also get a free drink or food item after every 12 purchase, and a personalized gold card.
It was the end times here early this morning with the weather but now the sun is shining and skies are blue.
shrift, if it's a work thing, then your new division might be happy that your old division is taking the overhead hit for the new equipment.
It's my fault for not realizing that I was requesting a laptop in my equipment request for my new desk in Mountain View. The request form really should have a place to indicate you don't need a computer rather than asking you to pick one, is what I'm saying.
Well, one of the cats ate the DSL data cable. And I have no idea where I'm going to get a new one because I don't even know what kind of cable it is because ATT doesn't tell you what kind of goddamn cable it is.
I swear to god that the universe is just throwing wrenches at me at this point. Ha ha, no internet at home because the cat ate it! What the hell.
Thanks, Maria! I do use the app. I'll have to pay attention to the offers now...
A ruined piece of irreplaceable art is absolutely cry-worthy. I'm so sorry.
Ha ha, no internet at home because the cat ate it!
I recognize that's an actual real problem, but that's hilarious.
The cat ate my internet! Sure, shrift, sure.
Window installation still continues apace. We are down to one guy who is doing the final framing and caulking. My new patio door is so nice. It is basic but the old one was a piece of crap. Having spackled all the holes around the windows, I have to wait before I can put the blinds and curtains back up.
I'm just really angry right now.
ETA: With the situation. And the fact that I'm supposed to fix the problem that I didn't create.
