Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

. Plus the sheer annoyance of someone "umm"ing and stumbling, and laughing and chatter in the background making it hard to hear.

ZenKitty, this is my story, this is my song! I hate vid and audio (without the choice for a transcript, that is) for exactly these reasons!

But some of the podcasts are as highly polished as regular NPR pieces. And things like On Being have accurate transcripts (and Cindy, you would LOVE Krista Tippet and whoever she interviews).

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I tweeted for you, ms belle.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Windsparrow or aurelia, either of you want to do another tweet thing? this involves being tagged in a tweet with 2 lines of a poem, then retweeting that out and adding 2 more lines (we could provide you the lines) and tagging someone else.

I may be too brain dead after 10 hours of driving for poetry. I saw the discussion on FB. Let me look there before I commit.

ION, CA highway 1 is gorgeous but I'm very glad to not be on it anymore.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The above is in re: my (ashamedly) slow move from civil marriage support to full marriage equality support. I'm not proud of the speed of my evolution. That said, I did have an evolution, and so I felt sorry for Obama, when he was roundly mocked for saying he had evolved. I was never for shutting same sex families out of their civil rights. I was just slow to realize that extending marriage was the best answer. I'm sorry to anyone here, who I hurt with my reticence.

I get stroppy with people who refuse to accept that, for some people, there was an evolution needed! Like, we're all trying to unpack our shit, and some of us have more layers to get through than others, damn it! The evolution is a good thing! You did it, Hillary did it, Obama did it: there's just a lot of baggage that was there that had to be gone through!
