-t-- that is what my boss (a nurse) thinks it is and has for several years. My PCP did that test last time, and didn't find anything weird. He is baffled and has sent me to a dermatologist, but in the past they have not been too helpful as the rash had mostly cleared up by the time I got in. The dermatologist says he thinks it is an ID reaction to a fungal infection. My PCP disagrees and says that they just say that when they don't know what it is! The two things that have worked in the past in addition to claritin are Aquaphor (after I start peeling) and drinking a lot of water. All of these solutions have been given to me by nurses I work with!

I was afraid of that. That is the problem with Comcast vs. ATT.
Yeah, the third option is Sonic, which also works with ATT, but my apartment is 5354 feet from the CO, which means slow. I feel like I've done enough research today to make an informed choice, but ugh.
Okay. Evil it is.
I'd probably go with cable instead of DSL even if means dealing with evil.

Well, they have to know what to test for to find it, really. So that can be hard. And with it so intermittent I'm having trouble even thinking of likely candidates. I assume they tested everything you ate that day before it started, but if it's something in the air I don't know how to track it down.
Yeah, but apparently that doesn't stop Comcast from billing you for it anyway according to their help forums.
It took me months to get Comcast to stop billing me for their modem, even though I'd had one of the technicians set my own modem and router up. I didn't really need him to set them up for me, I just wanted it on their records that he'd done it and taken theirs away with him. That documentation finally got them to refund me eight months of charges and take the charge off my bill.
Comcast is my only real choice; satellite and DSL from the phone company are too slow for my requirements. So I have to deal. They haven't been too bad, typical mega-corporation, the worst was when construction workers down the street literally cut my cable and I had to go to social media to get someone to come fix it.
Naturally Comcast doesn't have any appointment slots available for the days that are convenient for me. Of course they don't.
Of course they don't!
If you read Ask A Manager, or even if you don't, you should read this heartwarming update: [link]
Comcast does not charge me a rental fee for my own modem. But I think it helped that I took it back to them and made a point of returning it.
I was told there wouldn't be a hook up fee because I had my own modem. Bit I got charged a smaller amount. I forget what they called it but similarly worded and I told them I owned my modem they didn't set it up. Bit its some sort of transfer of services fee. Basically I paid them to turn my services on.
OMG I PULLED UP SAME TIME AS UPS I HAVE SHOOOOOOOOESSSSSSSS,!!
Why no, I'm not sniffling. At all. Thanks, Jesse.
I hate Comcast so much that I went with CenturyLink DSL. It's not as good, but I consistently get 25 mbps down and 2 up, so it suffices. Also helps I'm 800 ft from the CO.
Yay, sarameg! Way to go, Monday!
-t, backflung. Thank you so much!
