Hi -t!

I am always cheering along, even if I don't say it!

I especially love that here I can feel caught up, unlike Facebook which has a neverending list, yet manages to show me the same post 18 times, and then when I try to scroll past it just tells me there's new stuff, instead...I swear, I'm sure half my frendslist is getting married, having babies, getting cancer, and being fired, and I don't even know it because I see the same meme 18 times that I liked once and now has new likes?!?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Wow. Exactly, precisely what meara said.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Was it here someone was lamenting the demise of WordPerfect? 'cause I had someone this morning inquire if we had legal document forms in WordPerfect ... a lawyer, of course (not to disparage lawyers (this time) but because they seem to be the last one clinging to WP.

And, in regard to the Democratic Convention, I liked this article ... and I love the photo.

Pretty much sitting in a multihours long path of thunderstorms. I guess I'm giving up on my swim.

Yeah, that was me. WP had great legal form support and had a wonderful View Codes feature. I wonder if I still have the installation CD from around 2000.

ooh ... I remember View Codes ... it was SO helpful ... and was a great introduction to learning HTML (I still do some hand coding)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, yeah. I have pretty much given up on Facebook except for whatever is at the top of my newsfeed when I happen to look at it. Sorry people I don't have other contact with! I am keeping up with my one friend in Amsterdam pretty well since I guess his bored-in-the-afternoon posts hit when I am getting up and look to see what's going on.

View Codes! Those were the days, my friends.
