Don't look at fivethirtyeight's polls/polls-plus predictions right now.
Thanks for the tip. I think I'll just go to the park and play Pokemon GO rather than read news.
I went to Hulu to watch stuff, and they've changed from having a Queue and Favorites to just one thing called a Watchlist
I'm not liking the changes. Maybe I'll get used to it and hate it less?
Anyway, you totes should get your brother's Netflix password for Jessica Jones.
I looked at Hulu online and couldn't figure out where last night's Daily and Nightly show were. I haven't looked on my actual DVR yet.

Yeah, I'm not loving it.
Timelies all!
Bleah, I'm dealing with another cold.
Yesterday was CJ's birthday and tonight we are taking him out to dinner and a movie. His sister, girlfriend, her parents, and I have all coordinated presents for him. He is getting a record player, headphones, and records. I can't wait.
Sounds like an awesome birthday.
Felt like going back in time.
Did the place smell like wood varnish and machine oil and paint thinner and old cardboard and history?
Gud, that looks almost exactly like the hardware store in my neighborhood. And they always manage to have almost everything that we need.

I was wondering what it smelled like, too.
Man, I love real hardware stores, when you can find them. Chain of whatever gauge you need by the yard! Bins of nails! Cast iron cookware! Kerosene lamps and lamp oil--and wicks! Where else can you buy lamp wicks? And the help is always so knowledgeable and *help*ful.
All good thoughts for your friend, Plei.
Stoically not monitoring the news--we've been sick, and honestly, my blood pressure can't take it. I'll have to live with whatever the eventual outcome is, but I'm really really afraid to allow myself to hope for the best. Preparing for the worst is less harrowing than having hope slaughtered by reality.
