I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Possible.

My dad had a shed with power and AC. No plumbing, though. He was a rock hound and kept his specimens out there. It may have saved my parents' marriage.

Oh, UPS, why can't you make up your mind? You send me an email telling me my delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow but update the website to say it is on the truck for delivery today. With the same timestamp.

brillig

Monday morning commute. It's been raining steadily for hours. One of these things is glorious. The other thing is going to have me taking the non-freeway route to work, because I live among morons.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

'suela, I have no useful advice for the kitchen color dilemma. I'm horrible at making up my mind.

Ugh, sara. I'm sorry you can't just get your shoes.

-t, going way back to the sample sale: I'm looking for the smaller prep bowls that you would use for chopped vegetables, spices, herbs, etc. I've been using my soup bowls, and they're too big. Ramekin-sized sounds about right.

Coding and Sleeping

I had a productive weekend of sorts. I helped my FIL put up a huge sign for a new housing development, I mowed, I visited my recovering grandmother, and I built a nice sturdy bookshelf for my wife out of 3/4" solid pine so it won't bend under the weight of textbooks.

I also posted to my blog which hasn't happened in a long time.

It's about my attempt to find information on presidential candidate's stand on the issues from their websites.

I feel like I should send an email to the office that Wednesday is my last day here, but I don't really want to. Most of the people I'd go to a happy hour with are in Florida this week for an off-site I'm not going for obvious reasons.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Hello!

I was on vacation last week, and went on a lot of day trips-- I got to see animals almost every day (zoo, history museum, humane society petting zoo, picking my godson up from 4-H camp) and I went to see a Pyrex exhibit at Corning Museum of Glass.

I had a good week, but I woke up Saturday with a full body rash like I have had before and I washed my iphone in the washing machine, which was less good.

Now I am at work, and I think too much claritin is making me sleeping (though less itchy).

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oh Sophia, feel better soon.

New window installation has begun. K-Bug, Jack, and I are on the back porch trying to stay out of the installer's way and trying to keep Jack's barking to a minimum. Tomorrow they install the new patio door, so he will be off to doggie day care for that.

I had a mild freak out last night over the cost of the windows and having them be a reality. We will still have 3 more windows to replace - I just couldn't afford to do them all at the same time.
