Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am in no way defending Trump, and we clearly avoided naming our elevators white or black, but it does seem like the idea might have been a red, white and blue theme, and it was thoughtless.

It sort of reminds me of when we renovated a floor at work. On all the plans, the adjust faculty office was labeled Faculty "Specials". Yes, with the quotes. That is because they are processed on a special payroll form.

Then the sign-maker made the sign for the door- in huge letters Faculty "Specials"! I can't really believe no one stopped that, but it amused me for a really long time to walk by it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I literally didn't even think of red, white, and blue. Apparently I am not a patriot after all.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, man, today is going to be hard to get through without snarling at things.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

When I was in college, a favored prank was to steal the "l" from the sign for the Office of Public Information.

I am so sorry Dana. At least you saw Daveed Diggs!

My library e-book collection is STILL recommending me children's books, like Curious George.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I know that feel, Dana. My back-up person did nothing while I was "on vacation", as far as I could tell.

What I read was that they had color-coded the elevators red, white, and blue, and no one thought about it until they got embarrassed.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm disproportionately angry about it.

Our wings are not tired.

and no one thought about it until they got embarrassed.

Pretty much the same thing happened when they chose their candidate.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Laura FTW.

It's one thing to paint the elevator doors in a color code or have different color signs that simply say "elevator" but what they did shows that there are no critical thinkers in the room at all.

Seriously, not one person who saw the mockup for the sign had even a second thought? Oy.

Just had the phone screen for a job at a Company (something I have not had since college!), and don't think it went great, and she is definitely looking for people with experience I don't have, but maybe? Eh, we'll see.
