Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Surely you have coworkers or a meeting to bring it to? I feel like there is always a place for baked goods!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Jesse,

Problem is, there isn't a good way to transport it. (We took apart the box it was in to get it out.)

It just feels like a mint.

Oh, it is. Cost me ~$120 each time I did it. Partly because I have so much hair she needed multiple packets of color. I saved about $600/year when I stopped coloring my hair. But since I cut it so short I have to get it cut more often.

The Boss did awesome at agility today! That was really nice. And now I'm making Mark Bittman's cassoulet with spicy sausage and a glass of rose-in-a-can from some Oregon winery. Not bad!

Yay margaritas!

The problem with wine in a can is that it's 12 oz of wine and an average pour these days is 4-5 oz. So basically it's a drunk Consuela in a can.

Go msbelle!

School work kicked my ass today. First big assignment and it took me a good hour just to figure out what I needed accessible to complete the assignment. I had a choice of a PowerPoint (with detailed notes) or a paper. Silly me choose the PowerPoint. Each is based on a different reading, so I can't switch now without completely starting over. Ugh. I think the presentation is done and tomorrow I'll finish my added research and I the notes.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay monthly game night, msbelle! And margaritas!

Tonight got all derailed in a good way, except for the dr slicing his finger open. I love my neighborhood.

I just got an e-mail about a sweepstakes offering a big trip to Great Britain as a prize. You know, a few months ago I'd have been all "sign me up!" but now I'm thinking I can get craziness, violent bigotry, and incompetent politicians at home.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Home from the beach. The drive was interesting -- North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky are places where people fly the Confederate flag unironically, AND YET we didn't see a single Trump sign. That gives me some hope.
