Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

I took a four hour nap, woke up with my tummy still unhappy, but finally managed to drag myself to dancing, since hey, I shouldn't need too much sleep tonight right? (Somehow I don't believe that)

Ugh. Dancing was a mistake--I thought I felt ok (my stomach had quit hurting) but I just felt horribly off, and all my dances, even with the good dancers, felt terrible. Wtf self? Tomorrow better be better!

ETA: oh, partial mystery solved perhaps--note to self, you would feel at least a little better if you remembered to take your medication in the morning!!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I tell you what, combining Pokémon Go with an activity tracker is exceptionally satisfying. I rambled around campus during the day and my neighborhood in the evening hitting up Pokestops and catching Pokémon. Before I got home my tracker said I'd made my daily goal. And I leveled up. If the interest continues I might actually get into shape. Or get heat stroke. Possibly both.

Go team Valor!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ugh. I am an idiot. I was supposed to teach ESOL at Refugee Resettlement today, but I accidentally set my alarm for 8 PM rather than 8 AM. That's the sort of excuse where I'd roll my eyes if one of my college students tried to use it.

Coding and Sleeping

but I accidentally set my alarm for 8 PM rather than 8 AM.

I've been there.

In college I was once an hour late for a final because I was so tired I slept through my alarm clock buzzing for an hour. Fortunately, we had three hours to take the final and two hours was still plenty of time.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Now that's a party cat!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, you guys, I really just want to put my head on my desk. I was out late last night, and got to work this morning to discover I had double-booked myself for 9am. And then it went like that from there. I have seven meetings scheduled before 2:30 tomorrow. So I guess I'm going to skip the big fancy speaker who is coming to talk to our interns at 2:30.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just realized I can push at least one of tomorrow's meetings to next week, so that's something.

And Tom, I finally got to your submission -- thanks! People who follow the Good Stuff, would you let me know if that kind of post shows up well? I posted it as a link, which makes the photo show up at least some of the time, but I'm not sure everyone will see it. (The story is about the Librarian of Congress.)
