Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm reading it and I can hear it in his voice.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I thought the director/actor guy WAS the speechwriter. I think I got it mixed up with the actor who left House to be a speechwriter.

Kal Penn, but he wasn't a speechwriter, he was an associate director at the Office of Public Engagement (under his birth name, Kalpen Modi).

That's kind of hilarious about Obama and the article (though I'm sure the editor was corresponding with some secretary or speechwriter)

Damp makes sense too. The quiz was horrid. Now I want a better quiz!!

I dyed all my hair blue last night. Some of it ended up more turquoise. And it was fluffy because I didn't put any product in it. So basically I looked like a dr Seuss character. I have now re-dyed it and am hoping for more superhero blue hair instead. Fingers crossed (it's still wet so hard to tell)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm on grand jury duty this week, and they gave us a long lunch today, so I went home and watched Match Game. I feel like I'm back in junior high.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That is so cool. Good Luck, DavidS!

Thanks! They're going in now...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just realized there are 2 Jon Favreaus.

Hee.

Barack Obama, JD

Ooh!

I'm in the airport!

Whee!

I'm on grand jury duty this week, and they gave us a long lunch today, so I went home and watched Match Game. I feel like I'm back in junior high.

Match Game is the best. I mean, not the actual best, because there's no Bill Cullen, but I do enjoy it.

I just had a call with the chair of a large foundation whose name is also a major company. He was asking if my job could do a favor for his friend's kid and her startup. Hilarious. (But I bet the startup makes it to Shark Tank, given how connected they are.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So basically I looked like a dr Seuss character.

That sounds good to me.

Tom, I'm imagining the scene in Freaks and Geeks when Bill gets home, makes himself a grilled cheese sandwich and watches Gary Shandling on TV.
