I don't understand the Pokemon. When I worked at JC Penney we sold stuffed pokey-men and Jiggly Puff was super cute.
Oh man -- I just overheard one of my very few African American coworkers telling someone she's not comfortable going to the rally at police headquarters tomorrow night. Ugh.
...which just goes to show that thing on FB was right -- every post on the internet is either about racism or Pokemon right now.
There is also the vocabulary quiz. [link]
I am so confused by this question:
The antonym of catalyst is:
current
damp
nadir
prevention
I think it has to be nadir because it is the only noun in that list, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. Prevention makes sense, but is not the right part of speech.

They're both nouns.
That vocab quiz had a lot of parallelism issues. Did not like. (I would've gone catalyze/prevent)
Pokemon and racism. Yep.
Ok. I was saying in my head "A Catalyst", "A Prevention" and it sounded wrong.
Think of it as prevention takes the article "the" rather than "a."
Tanks. I was thinking of sentences like "That chemical is a catalyst, this chemical is a prevention". Which makes no sense!
I went with damp defining it as in preventing or smothering a reaction.
ETA: Note, I did the test, did pretty well, then took it again and did worse.
