Boy, do I live in a rockin' town or what? Apparently the supermarket is the place to be at 10:00 PM on a hot summer Saturday night. Which makes sense: air conditioning, tasty things to eat and drink, and a reason to be there other than to ogle everyone else. Though I felt sorry for the number of small kids that were still up.

I need to stop hiding at home after dark. Lots of people outing and abouting on a summer night, and I adore people watching.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I went to work for a couple of hours, cleaned the bathroom, took a nap because I kept nodding off trying to read FB (too many 14 hour work days), got two big bags of recyling in the car to take to the drop-off, washed dishes (which is daily, so not a big thing) watched two episodes of OitNB and did two loads of laundry. Tomorrow I need to drop off recycling and some donations, make a Target run, sweep (and probably mop), and dust before out of town guests arrive. I should try to work Pilates in there, too.

I...tried to wash the blue out of my hair but it is super stubborn. And then I went to the beauty supply store and bought lots of shit. And then grocery shopped, ran a tiny bit, and met a friend to play pool. And then met other friends to play more pool. And then we ended up at karaoke for many hours.

Boys were quiet in the tent by 12. Boy emerged at 2am and moved to living room floor. Living room boy was up at 6. by 6:15 three boys were up. By 7 all boys up and off down the block to the elementary school with my phone and Pokemon Go.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm not into Pokemon, but the new version sure seems to be getting people out and about, which is nice.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel like my new hobby is going to have to be identifying the people playing Pokemon Go.

Our wings are not tired.

And feeling really antisocial, declining all bday invites.

Perhaps you should catch some Pokemon. I hear it gets you out and about.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The corporate security on my phone doesn't get along with Pokemon Go (for some reason, I can't give it permission to use my phone's location info, even though Maps and other apps work just fine), so I am unable to participate in our new national passtime. BOO.

Our wings are not tired.

I may let my son set it up on my phone so I can be one of the cool kids, but I have an older OS, so not sure.
