No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Can you put some stuff away?

For my part, I just made some cheese crackers (a little too much cayenne, but otherwise delicious) and am going to continue watching tv.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yeah, why can't your kids put the laundry in? What is your wife doing while you are doing all this work, if I may ask?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Steph, because I am a HORRIBLE person I almost posted to your vacation pic that it is too bad FiL couldn't be there. I AM SORRY I EVEN THOUGHT IT, I AM LITERALLY THE WORST.

I just want to say that mr. flea is doing heroic boy-wrangling work. THEY ARE SO CRAZY.

People here are being much more productive than I am. I was able to do some useful running about in the morning. But after 12:30 I had to close myself inside and hide from the weather. I hate this time of year. It's like I can feel the heat pushing against the walls and windows, searching for a way in.

1.75 months until non-vile weather.

Our wings are not tired.

I AM SORRY I EVEN THOUGHT IT, I AM LITERALLY THE WORST.

Too soon? Ha, not for me. I laughed. I hope Middle Brother is accepting and FIL isn't regretting not going.

Boy wrangling is exhausting. I loved when mine were in the back yard tent.

You guys are productive. I pretty much never do any laundry but my own. DH and the boys have always done there's. It was the first chore the boys did when they were little punks. I don't do stinky boy socks.

Painted samples for faux grate background. I am possibly insane. And feeling really antisocial, declining all bday invites. Barely managed to answer parents' call.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Which hotel, Teppy?

A Best Western by a mall. Surprisingly comfortable bed!

Ha! Middle Brother seems fine, and FiL is so happy to be at home.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Man, what have I done today? I picked up a hold book from the library and read a few chapters. I went for a 3-4 mile walk. I got groceries and barely managed not to be rude to the lady behind me who tried to insist the package of chicken was hers. Lady, did you think I wouldn't notice if the cashier rang up $10 worth of chicken If I didn't intend to buy it?!

I made zucchini, cauliflower, black bean, and fauxrizo burritos for dinner. I did a load of dishes. I've got the spare sheets in the wash now since my mom arrives on Wednesday. Oh, and I did some deep cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom because my mom arrives on Wednesday.

those burritos sound great!

I did agility class (The Boss did great, I'm so pleased!) and got my hair cut, and got my toenails done at a new salon (too expensive, but it was nice), and stopped at the store. Now I have the first batch of macarons in the oven. I tried to make them purple but didn't use enough food coloring, so they're not very interesting-looking. Oh, and I watched an episode of Wynonna Earp and now I'm watching an episode of Underground.

... holy cow, Aldis Hodge is cut. It is painful to look at him, it must be so hard to stay in condition looking like that.
