If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

Yeah, that's really hard msbelle. I'm worried about all my friends and family who are not white. And I just don't even know what to do. like, my sister is freaked out about the latest one because it hits extra hard--her daughter is 4 (and my BIL is black)

Microsoft addressed a group of its interns as "bae" and invited them to a party with "hella noms" and "lots of dranks." And then closed it with "HELL YES TO GETTING LIT ON A MONDAY NIGHT."

Hahaha oh Microsoft no.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

OMG, I'm trying to be snarky on FB and almost used "trump" as a verb (in its normal sense), and then realized I needed to find another word to use.

I went with "one-up."

Stupid orange-headed fool taking perfectly good words away from us. I see outraged bridge clubs muttering dolefully into their tea cakes.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

It's never pretty when a large company tries to be cool.

This brings to mind the rapping Colonel Sanders cartoon from quite a few years back.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I see outraged bridge clubs muttering dolefully into their tea cakes.

Or passive-aggressively poking at each other. "Three NO TRUMP!!!!"

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

The guy I was sniping at responded with a variation of "all lives matter", but fortunately I'd preemptively said I wasn't going to engage with him any more.

(Jesus, white people, why are so many of us clueless?)

Oh, Monday is going to be glorious, a high of 78. Tuesday will be 86 and the rest of the week in the 90s, but Monday will be blissful--and I'll be on vacation!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sounds wonderful Connie.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm always nervous at airport immigration. I'm always a little nervous just going through the TSA lines domestically. I don't trust anyone in authority anymore, frankly.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Meanwhile, the temperatures here are supposed to be in the mid-to-upper 90s, plus the humidity making it feel even hotter. Yup, summer in DC...
