Mom says for me not to worry
Awww, parents try so hard. OF COURSE he's going to worry, Sean's Mom! Sheesh.
But for the moment everything seems okay. She's in the hospital, so she's where she needs to be at the moment.
That's good news! It's true that untreated a-fib can be problematic, but you're right: she's in the best place she can be right now, and can get the proper treatment so that it's not a huge deal.
So the Big Big Boss is here next week, and they want to do some awards. My boss has decided he's going to nominate me for some bullshit work I did in April/May. And he's requiring me to fill out the nomination paperwork myself...

My thoughts are with you and your mom, Sean.
My dad had a-fib managed with medication for a while (although he didn't like the meds) until he had a procedure that seems to have fixed the errant electrical impulses. He's been great since then.
Hubby had an electrocardiologist disconnect a faulty node in his heart, and the afib went away. Apparently there are lots of backup nodes available.
I've had a-fib for years, but medicine keeps it under control.
Had therapy today for me. I think I am super open and have been honest about our household, but the therapist was really taken back when I read her Max's texts to me yesterday. It was like the mean tweets segment from late night.
