I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

I'm just gobsmacked that she's been here for years and thought that was okay.

I can't believe this is the first time it's been an issue! IME, any time version control could be a problem, it's a problem.

I'm so sick of this project and the bullshit way the planner has run it. I'm just going to bull through it, and put it out there, and let the planners take the heat for it. It's stupid and a waste of money and BLARGH.

And, to make it worse, the planner has gotten rewarded for not coordinating with other people and bullshitting her way through it all. She's gotten at least two raises in the last few years, despite having alienated all the environmental staff she's worked with. Argh. I don't even dislike her on a personal level, but she's almost useless in a team context: she makes all the decisions, doesn't consult, doesn't provide information.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I can't believe this is the first time it's been an issue!

I suspect it has been a problem before, but the editor before me probably blamed the vendor for the screw-up, not realizing it started with the assistant.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm irrationally cranky today. I'm eating lunch in an attempt to not hate everyone.

Mom says for me not to worry (and that's totally what's going to happen right now, mom).

But for the moment everything seems okay. She's in the hospital, so she's where she needs to be at the moment.

I'm going to go back to not worrying. For all values of "not" that equal "TOTALLY."

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

All the best to you and your mom, Sean. It's scary, but manageable. My mother had a-fib as well and lived with it for a number of years with the help of a pacemaker.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Mom says for me not to worry

Awww, parents try so hard. OF COURSE he's going to worry, Sean's Mom! Sheesh.

But for the moment everything seems okay. She's in the hospital, so she's where she needs to be at the moment.

That's good news! It's true that untreated a-fib can be problematic, but you're right: she's in the best place she can be right now, and can get the proper treatment so that it's not a huge deal.
