Just heard back from Miss Kitty's vet - her bloodwork all came back fine. No hyperthyroid, no diabetes, just a slightly elevated calcium count. She said it isn't high enough to be concerned about cancer.
I do have antibiotics for her as she may have a UTI. We will see if that helps her return to the litter box.
So, while she has apparent arthritis in all her limbs and possibly her spine, she is in relatively good health for being 14.
I was!
In that case, a cheesesteak's not a cheesesteak without olives!
Glad your kitty's gonna be okay, Suzi!
sending love, msbelle
Gud, maybe a bit of paprika and Mexican oregano if you have it? Somehow Mexican and Italian oregano taste very different to me.
And ugh msbelle, I get it. Being around that kind of verbal abuse is toxic
We need a good slang word for ovaries. Like balls.
Well, they are ball shaped so we can stay with girl, you got balls. But agreed that a better word should happen.

Much love, Rebecca. I've had days when I refused to take calls, read texts, or emails from my sons. Won't be abused, and seriously kids I am working here.
I don't think I have ever had a philly cheesesteak, or chicken fajita, so not much help there.

It is difficult to get the same taste as cumin in any recipe; however, the following can be used as substitute for cumin: Powdered coriander. Chili powder. Caraway seeds.
Timelies all!
Sigh...got to daycare and the little guy's got a fever again. I gave him some Infant Motrin, and he's napping now. Somebody's got to stay home with him tomorrow. I have an eye appointment tomorrow, so we need to figure something out.
When I lived in Philadelphia I liked pizzasteaks. Steak, cheese and pizza sauce. (I don't like peppers and onions, though I recognize that they are a traditional part of cheesesteaks.) Eating that these days would not end well for me.
Powdered coriander
So I was right???
Thanks for the seasoning ideas.
Man, it's just one fucking medical expense after another lately. It's going to be nearly $2,000 for a nurse practitioner to drain an absecss... after insurance. This is why I've vowed to never go the ER again.
