Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I slept in today. I've only been up 30 minutes or so.

Just got a training meeting invite:

Purpose of training: The Company Name Core Competencies comprise 20% of your annual performance rating. This training will provide a formal overview of the 7 Company Name Core Competencies, including their definitions, examples of positive behavior, and how the competencies were selected.

Do I want a regular tint or photochromic in my new sunglasses?

Sounds awful.

Oh, lord, corporate double speak from HR and PR people desperate to prove why they have jobs.

regular tint or photochromic

Is photochromic the one that changes in bright light? They may have improved the process since I had it several years ago, but I hated mine. It tinted under certain artificial lights, and as time went on it put a permanent yellow-ish tint over everything all the time. If I'm looking at white, I want to see white, not ecru.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

regular tint or photochromic

My issue with the last pair I had with photochromic is that they didn't get dark enough for the sun in Colorado.

Coding and Sleeping

The ACT scores for the kids are in. Em got a 30 composite and Leif got a 32 composite which he's too busy playing video games right now to ponder much. Em is not going to be happy to find out her little brother scored higher.

Sometimes when I'm driving in the middle of the day, I reach for my sunglasses then realize I'm already wearing them. I think I need a pair of extra-dark.
