I hate practical jokes too, or at least most of them. Certain kinds of joke that are more theater than classic practical joke I don't mind. For example, I once saw a clip from Candid Camera where someone was told that a butcher shop had the freshest beef in town. So the customer enters the butcher shop and the butcher brings out a live cow with cuts of meat stenciled in appropriate places on its body. I think the customers was Tim Conway, who instantly guessed he was on Candid Camera. Now that I think about it that was more performance art than a classic practical joke . Most practical jokes have a victim...

So my beloved ex-supervisor saw Hamilton Saturday night. Family&friends tickets, orchestra seats. Turns out, they know the director. Got to go backstage and meet the cast, including LMM. Lucky, huh?
I now feel like everyone in the world is at most two degrees from that show.
Took the stupid subway, made it to the train. Now for an adventure!

Fuck YES, S.Ct! They struck down the TX abortion law 5-3.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good to hear. It would have been depressing to have it upheld. I mean everybody knew what that law was trying to do and just didn't say it because it would be unconstitutional. It would suck to have a something like that upheld.
Wow aurelia, Patti LuPone!
Also happy with the SCOTUS ruling but ye gads, getting tired of having to keep fighting to protect the same rights
