Humiliation is why I don't watch most comedies on TV.
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ugh, stayed up too late last night reading, so I slept most of the day away and missed the farmer's market. I did manage to catch this year's cheesy Hallmark movie starring Kavan Smith, and found out at dinner tonight that the sushi place down the street where I'm a regular (but not enough of one, apparently) is closed for remodeling the next couple of months, with tonight being the last night. No more volcano rolls for me until autumn.
Someone at work just texted me "The Orion is always there." wtf. I guess I've been accidentally included in the seekrit plans. Soon someone will show up to kill me for knowing too much.
Today's mental debate: I'm taking the train to Maine tomorrow. The fastest way to get to that train is the commuter rail, but it only gives me 10 minutes to transfer. The commuter rail is notoriously unreliable. Do I take the longer route and give myself plenty of time?
Take the longer route, Jesse. Unless there's another Maine train later.
I had kind of a shitshow of an evening--was going out with three friends. Two are a couple. Well, one had just hooked up with someone new so she disappeared with that girl early on. And the other two friends got totally drunk and had a fight. And I looked at the block long line to get into the lesbian bar (I had paid the $25 cover already as part of a weekend pass) and said fuck it, and went home before 11pm. Sad.
Do I take the longer route and give myself plenty of time?
YES!
Eesh, meara. At least Friday night sounded fun?
Unless there's another Maine train later.
Yeah, that's the rub -- the trains are hours apart.
I know the right thing to do, but soooo laaaaazy.
If you're really feeling lazy, you could, you know, take a car.
Interestingly, that would probably take longer than the commuter rail, and (according to Google maps) could take as long as the subway! Traffic, mang.
I have slept most of the last 2 days and I swear I could fall asleep again right now. I am not sick and this has just got to be hormones or depression/anxiety. I am forcing myself to stay up and do some things around the house. It is actively filthy. At least here I can post without shame or anyone rushing in to solve the issue. I just need accountability.
