I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

What an ass. I am now Senior Editor for two journals and Journals Coordinator for five. That kind of arrogant crap? Wastes my time, and I don't have a lot of time. It's hard to be patient and professional with jerks like that.

Yeah, my coordinator is annoyed as shit with him.

ION, I asked the dog "Pardon me, are you Kato Burr, sir?" and he just heaved out one of those long-suffering sighs.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Boy, you know what's fun? Listening to people argue over code syntax on a conference call.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I just heaved out a very contented sigh. Thank you, Kato Burr.

Oh cool! What language?

His long-suffering sighs are COMEDY GOLD. Poor, poor Kato. No one understands how hard he has it.

JavaScript.

There's a lot you can argue about JavaScript code. That is a messy language.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

...but I think I've hit the tipping point where I need to just hide all her posts instead.

a) Ugh, I'm sorry you have to deal with that; and

2. Does this mean there's a way to hide someone's posts without unfriending them? Because I could do with that right now.

Click the gray arrow on the right-hand side of the name. There should be an option to "Unfollow".

Oh, right -- I used the wrong term, because in my brain it's hiding them. FB calls it unfollowing. That way you're still technically FB friends, but you never have to see the nonsense they post unless you choose to go back and re-follow them. It's made my feed so nice.
