Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Well, if it's secured, it's not protecting you.

This is what I never understand- if you are a safe gun owner, you are not going to be able to use that gun in, say a home invasion except under special circumstances (like you are hiding near the gun safe). You might still be able to use them for self-defense, if there is an apocalypse or some need to overthrow the government. But by its nature, I do not see how you can use a gun to "protect your family" and be safe. (Yes, again I am the illogical one !?!?)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And that's why so many toddlers shoot people.

IN OTHER NEWS, an unAmerican coworker just asked me where "touch base" comes from, and then I started googling, and wow the word "touch" looks so wrong now I find it hard to believe it's a real word. (And it looks like probably baseball but maybe the military is the answer?)

Well my dad's guns are primarily for hunting. So access to them is not his concern.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Nah, it's because they're shifty as hell.

msbelle- I wasn't talking about the hunting people- I think you can be a safe gun owner and hunt or shoot for sport, but not if your intended purpose is protection and defense of your home.

Coding and Sleeping

You could keep a keypad lockbox with a handgun inside next to your bed. The tiny extra delay would be well worth preventing a kid from accidentally shooting someone or a teenager from using it to commit suicide in a moment of intense emotion. I think a lot of lives could be saved by just treating firearms as, you know, really dangerous things.

brillig

I could see owning several guns, because many of them are works of art. I found the more highly decorated ones fascinating even as a kid.

But they'd be locked up in secure display cases with armored glass.

And in day 3 Mac realized that mama is not playing and is getting in line. I offered him some hints on how to get the most out of my rules and he seemed interested.

information libertarian

Wait, you know someone who collects cannons? That is cool, but thinking about the practical logistics of collecting cannons is kind of hilarious. I mean, you could buy one on ebay, but the shipping would be a bitca.
