My coworker is good ol' boy liberal. He's for gay rights, anti-racism, thinks feminism is awesome--he just also likes to go to the range and shoot the hell out of things. Otherwise, the guns are in gun safes. He actually reminds me a lot of my dad his buddies who had a deer camp in northern MI, which may be why we get on. And he thinks the ideas of guns for home and personal protection is ridiculous.
