oh, joy. I just spent today at jury duty, and... I got picked as an alternate. BOO. For a civil case that looks DULL AS DIRT omg. I'm going to die of boredom. Also, as an alternate, you don't even get to deliberate!
At least if the Warriors win tonight I won't have to go to the courthouse on Thursday because there will be a bigass parade and the courthouse will be closed.
my dear sweet lord this child is a drama queen. he had his two hours and now that it is over, BECAUSE HE DOES NOTHING ELSE AND HAS NO OTHER INTERESTS AND IS NOT UNLIKE AN ADDICT, he is hitting walls and mumbling and has once again taken a backpack and headed out. NOT sneaking out like someone who actually wants away, no, stomping and slamming and using the door right by me, like a toddler would.

I've got like a centimter left of frayed rope between work, house chaos, and the world. I started work at 6:30 this am, hoping to take advantage of the quiet and it pretty much exploded immediately. I was HAPPY to sign out to return to a basically stressful amount of dust.
honestly I am only bothered by how late he will likely keep me up. I texted him that I am bolting the doors when I head to shower and I told him when that was. I will take a cursory look for him now and then he'll be locked out.
He should know better now the acorns will bean him and at least get inside.
He's in the garage. I did not realize he had his whole computer set up with him. He can access a neighbor's unlocked wifi in there.
So tomorrow I take power cords or the whole damn computer.

I have taken the headphones for summer so I can hear it when he's watching videos or playing computer games. Ugh. Would so much prefer to trust him. Well at least the girl child has been sucked into the Miss Peregrine books so she's reading like a little addict.

I'm up and headed to the gym (yay?). I have to work this whole week which is a drag. I need/want the time off, and yet?
