So, as a person who has lived in the same area my whole life, I am obsessed with foods that I think are just readily available that are actually local- like white hots, chicken French, garbage plate. I just found out that Rochester meat hot sauce (for burgers and hots) is local, but is very similar to Cincinnati chili!
So, people don't have meat hot sauce on their burgers?

No meat hot sauce would mean I don't eat burgers! I love it! Apparently it was originated by Greek immigrants as was Cincinnatti chili.

These exist in Utica, but really much more a Rochester thing. I don't think I have consumed them, but I'm sure my family has.

Utica has a lovely zoo! I went there last summer on my day trip vacation!
I haven't had a white hot since I was a kid, because I don't really eat hot dogs. But to me, hot dogs come in a pack with five white and five red.
